Terms and Condition

Last updated: 24 August 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to personal styling, bridal styling, wardrobe curation and related services provided by Linda Oscar.

By confirming a proposal, accepting a service in writing or making a payment, the client confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

1. Service enquiries and bookings

Submitting an enquiry through the website, by email or through social media does not constitute a confirmed booking and does not reserve availability.

Following an enquiry, the recommended service, scope, fee, estimated timeline and any applicable additional costs will be confirmed in a written proposal or quotation.

A booking is confirmed only once:

  • the client has accepted the proposal and these Terms and Conditions in writing; and

  • the required deposit or payment has been received.

Availability and project start dates are not guaranteed until the booking has been confirmed.

2. Service scope

The content and scope of each service will be set out in the relevant proposal, quotation or service description.

Only the deliverables expressly included in the agreed scope form part of the service. Requests for additional looks, further research, additional shopping options, in-person appointments, travel, fittings or other work outside the original scope may incur an additional fee.

Any change to the agreed scope, fee or timeline must be confirmed in writing.

If there is any inconsistency between these general Terms and Conditions and an individually accepted proposal, the terms of the accepted proposal will apply to that specific service.

3. Fees and payment

All fees are stated in Swiss francs unless otherwise specified.

Payment must be made according to the schedule set out in the accepted proposal or invoice. Depending on the nature and duration of the service, payment may be required in full or divided into a deposit, instalments or project milestones.

The agreed booking or project start date will not be reserved until the required initial payment has been received.

Linda Oscar may pause or postpone work if a payment is overdue. Any resulting delay may affect the original project timeline or availability.

The client is responsible for any bank charges, currency-conversion costs or transaction fees associated with payment.

4. Cancellations and refunds

All payments are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

This reflects the time reserved for the client, the limitation placed on accepting other work and the research, preparation or creative work that may begin before a consultation or deliverable is presented.

If Linda Oscar is unable to provide the agreed service and no suitable alternative date or arrangement can be offered, the client will receive a refund for the portion of the service that has not been provided.

Products purchased independently by the client, retailer charges, travel bookings and other third-party expenses are subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the relevant provider.

5. Rescheduling appointments

A client may request to reschedule a consultation or appointment a maximum of two times, subject to availability.

Rescheduling requests should be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. The replacement appointment should normally take place within 90 days of the original appointment date.

Requests received with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend an appointment without notice, may result in the appointment being treated as completed and an additional fee being required to arrange another session.

Rescheduling a consultation, appointment or fitting may affect the overall project timeline. Original deadlines cannot be guaranteed following a client-requested change.

6. Client delays and participation

The client agrees to provide accurate and complete information and to respond to requests, questionnaires, approvals and feedback within the agreed timeframe.

Styling recommendations depend on the information provided by the client, including budget, preferences, existing wardrobe, event plans and relevant deadlines.

Delays in providing information, attending appointments, approving recommendations or purchasing time-sensitive items may affect availability, pricing and the delivery timeline.

If a project is significantly delayed or paused by the client, the timeline may need to be revised according to current availability. Additional work required because of the delay may incur an additional fee.

7. Recommendations and purchasing decisions

Styling recommendations are professional and creative recommendations based on the client’s stated preferences, needs, budget and the information available at the time of the service.

The final decision to purchase, wear, retain or return any item remains with the client.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, products recommended through a personalised Edit or shopping link are purchased directly by the client from the relevant retailer or designer.

Linda Oscar does not control and cannot guarantee:

  • product availability;

  • retailer pricing or subsequent price changes;

  • sizing, fit or comfort;

  • product quality or colour accuracy;

  • delivery dates;

  • customs charges or import duties;

  • retailer exchanges, cancellations or refunds.

The client is responsible for reviewing the retailer’s terms, delivery information and return policy before making a purchase.

Linda Oscar is not the seller of third-party products and is not responsible for disputes between the client and a retailer, designer, boutique, alteration specialist or other third-party provider.

8. Time-sensitive items

Availability, pricing and delivery estimates may change quickly, particularly for bridalwear, occasionwear, seasonal products and limited-availability pieces.

The client is responsible for making purchasing decisions within a reasonable timeframe. Linda Oscar cannot guarantee that a recommended item will remain available while the client considers the selection.

Alternative research required because an item has sold out after the recommendation was delivered is not automatically included unless specified in the agreed service scope.

9. Alterations, fittings and external providers

Recommendations relating to tailoring, alterations, hair, makeup, photography, boutiques, designers or other external providers are provided in good faith.

Any appointment, service or purchase made with an external provider creates a separate relationship between the client and that provider.

Linda Oscar is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, work quality, pricing or contractual obligations of third-party providers.

The client remains responsible for attending fittings, checking the final fit and condition of garments and allowing sufficient time for alterations and delivery.

10. In-person services and travel

Where a service includes or allows in-person support, the location, duration and included time will be stated in the proposal.

Additional time, personal shopping, boutique appointments, fittings, on-site styling and wedding-day support may be charged separately unless expressly included.

Reasonable travel, accommodation, transport or other expenses required to provide an in-person service outside the agreed local area will be disclosed and approved before being incurred.

11. Digital Edits and deliverables

Personalised digital Edits and other styling materials are prepared for the individual client and the specific project described in the proposal.

Colours and product appearances may vary between screens and from the physical product. Clickable links may expire or change after delivery, and Linda Oscar cannot guarantee the continued operation of third-party links.

Unless revisions are expressly included in the service description or proposal, additional selections, replacement research or revised deliverables may be quoted separately.

12. Intellectual property

All concepts, written materials, research, styling directions, mood boards, digital Edits, templates and other original materials created by Linda Oscar remain the intellectual property of Linda Oscar.

The client receives a personal, non-transferable right to use the final materials for their own private styling purposes.

Materials may not be reproduced, resold, published, distributed, shared commercially, used to provide services to another person or presented as the work of another stylist without prior written permission.

13. Client information and confidentiality

Personal information and materials supplied by the client will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on lindaoscar.com.

Wardrobe photographs, measurements, questionnaires, wedding details and other client information will be used only as reasonably necessary to provide and administer the service.

Client photographs, testimonials, project details or final looks will not be published for promotional purposes without the client’s prior permission.

14. Creative nature of the service

Styling is a creative and collaborative service. While every effort will be made to understand and reflect the client’s preferences, no particular personal reaction, retail outcome, third-party availability or event result can be guaranteed.

Dissatisfaction based solely on personal taste after the agreed work has been completed does not constitute non-delivery of the service.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Linda Oscar will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from:

  • purchases made from third parties;

  • retailer, designer or supplier delays;

  • unavailable or discontinued products;

  • alterations or fitting outcomes;

  • the client providing inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • the client not following relevant recommendations or timelines;

  • circumstances outside Linda Oscar’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

16. Events outside reasonable control

Neither party will be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside their reasonable control, including illness, accident, severe weather, travel disruption, government restrictions, supplier failure, venue changes or other unforeseen events.

Where possible, the parties will work together to agree a reasonable alternative date, revised timeline or modified method of delivery.

17. Changes to these Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. The version supplied or made available to the client when the booking is confirmed will apply to that service.

Any individual variation must be agreed in writing.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any agreement entered into with Linda Oscar are governed by Swiss law.

Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules, the courts of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland, will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the service.
